Labels
Sometimes when I go to the museum I play a game – I read an artworks label, I close my eyes and imagine what this art piece will look like. Then I look.

This is an ongoing series depicting the labels of imaginary artworks.

Each piece lists a work's title, materials used, my name and the year of production. The text is painted in acrylic on gessoed, bevel cut medex and mounted flush to the wall, thus functioning as scaled up version of the standard museum label, located somewhere in between sculpture and painting, concept and slapstick, asking the viewer to imagine what is not there.
