The light pattern emanating from the mirror sculpture creates an immersive environment in which we find two video projections, depicting Marvin and Ruby.

Ruby is kneeling on the ground, a broken boom box in front of her. She is turning its knobs, pretending to be looking for a good channel.
As she turns the knob, Marvin makes white noise, eventually settling on another channel, singing, speaking - creating the soundtrack to her game.

Although the two of them do not acknowledge each other directly; they are independent, a relationship develops through synchronicity, connecting them through the radio and the fractured light that reflects throughout the gallery.

No one is an Island
